This specialized rehabilitation hospital, which has been deeply rooted in the urban central area for many years, focuses on chronic disease care, post-operative rehabilitation, and elderly chronic disease maintenance. Over the years, it has gained the trust of surrounding patients through its meticulous rehabilitation treatment.
As the local demand for health care has been increasing year by year, the hospital has continuously expanded its inpatient beds. The number of patients admitted to the rehabilitation ward, elderly care ward, and oxygen therapy area has steadily risen. The daily oxygen consumption of the entire hospital has shown a significant gap, and the existing oxygen supply facilities gradually failed to meet the clinical needs.
Due to the early construction of the hospital area and the saturation of land planning within the hospital, there is a scarcity of indoor unused rooms and outdoor open spaces. The construction of a dedicated oxygen generator room and the addition of liquid oxygen storage tanks have no feasible conditions. The expansion of oxygen supply has become a difficult problem restricting the development of the hospital.
Previously, this hospital had already abandoned the traditional oxygen cylinder and floor-mounted storage tank oxygen supply mode, and selected Zhuoyu’s all-performance oxygen generation mobile cabin as the core oxygen supply equipment within the hospital. Unlike traditional oxygen generation units that require a separate civil construction room and occupy a large amount of indoor space, this cabin integrates an entire PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) oxygen generation system.
The entire machine is assembled at the factory and only requires the connection of water, electricity and oxygen supply pipelines on site. There is no need for civil construction in the room. The hospital can place the first equipment in the open parking space of the hospital area, start production and supply oxygen on-site. This not only saves the high investment in building a room but also activates the idle and scattered vacant land. Since its commissioning, the oxygen concentration has been stably maintained within the medical standard range of 93% ± 3%, providing uninterrupted and stable oxygen supply 24/7. It completely eliminates the cumbersome and safety hazards of frequently purchasing and transporting high-pressure oxygen cylinders.
As the number of patients continued to increase, the number of oxygen therapy beds in the ward kept rising, and the clinical oxygen demand load kept climbing. The hospital formulated a secondary expansion plan and purchased another 20-cubic-meter ZHUANGYU full-performance oxygen production cabin.
Facing the real predicament of exhausted space, relying on the modular and stackable structure of the product, the new cabin was directly lifted and stacked above the existing equipment. The entire expansion project was implemented without adding an inch of vacant land in the hospital area, successfully overcoming the industry pain points of insufficient space in the old hospital and the difficulty of oxygen expansion, and becoming a benchmark case for oxygen supply renovation in old hospitals.
